The battle of Beersheba was the first victory for Australia's military, as they showed courage and skill against the Turks .They were told that they should have charged quick as the horses were very thirsty. They were yelling like crazy as some had bayonets and some rifles. The horse was very fast and loyal like their life was on the line. After they got over the trenchers, they were pretty much safe as they got into the city. They had 20 men killed and 20 wounded.
