    The American Revolution 1770-1779
    The American Revolution was a colonial revolt that took place between 1770 and 1779. The American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies won independence from Great Britain, becoming the United States of America. They defeated the British in the American Revolutionary War in alliance with France. This event is important in US history because without this war the US probably would have still been with Britain if it wasn't for this war.

What was known at the time as the Louisiana Territory stretched from the Mississippi River in the east to the Rocky Mountains in the west and from the Gulf of Mexico in the south to the Canadian border in the north. This Event is important because of this event we have now in the united states 50 states

By 1899 he flashed the first wireless signal across the English Channel and two years later received the letter "S", telegraphed from England to Newfoundland. This is important because nowadays we all listen to radio in the car or at home and without it we would not have been able to know whats going on in the world
