And its directed only at women. Sending signals at that time period that womens bodies need to be a certain way. The technique used here is word play, there are sayings that degrade women here. Also verbal image. In this time period women were expected to act as home makers, and look a certain way.

And it depicts that women need to be the homemakers, keeping the house clean. The technique used here is verbal image, they are depicting a women being treated a certain way.

    In this ad it depicts a women with a man, trying to get his attention. This ad is directed towards women getting a type of makeup to have the "look" for a man to want to be with them. Its geared towards women to be a certain way for women to get a man. And the notion that women need to find a man or look a certain way. The technique used here is verbal image, and word play. They use images, and sayings to get their point across. In the 40s women are still treated as home makers.

That all women need to be in that ideal of "being the wife, and cleaning after everyone". The technique use here is verbal image. It is shown that a women should be cleaning after others.

And that all russian women love vodka. Its a very blanten assumption from soceity about women, and russian women as well. Word play and verbal imaging are used as the technique in this ad. The words here play off a gender and racial sterotype.

The techniques used here was verbal imaging and word play, it displays a "look" towards women. At this time women started getting their footing in the world.

The technique used here is verbal imaging plain out. Women are acting provactive towards men. In the 80s women started to move forward with rights.
