Miles moves to Culver Creek to search for his "Great Perhaps" to have a better life than he did in Florida. There, in his dorm room, he meets his roommate Chip aka "the Colonel". He also meets Alaska and he and the Colonel buy cigarettes from her. Later Miles smokes for the first time, rebelling against what his parents said. -
127 days before
The Weekday Warriors decide to throw miles, aka Pudge, in the lake after they duct tape him so he can’t move, to get back at the Colonel for ratting out Marya and Paul. The Colonel knew about the Weekday Warriors plan to throw him in the lake, but didn’t know that they planned to duct tape him like a mummy so that he couldnt move. Miles makes it back to shore and not knowing what to do, he goes to Alaska. But she didnt know that he could of died and she justs laughs. -
110 days before
Dr. Hyde Kicked Miles out of class for looking out the window. Alaska got mad a Dr. Hyde for having such a ridicuous excuse to kick someone out of the class so she stood up for Miles. Alaska then got kicked out of the class too. Later that day when theyr'e smoking under the bridge, Miles asks why Alaska smokes so fast and she relpied: "Y'all smoke to enjoy it. I smoke to die". -
99 days before
Alaska, Pudge, Chip, and Takumi get caught smoking by the Eagle. They get sent to school jury and the Colonel and Alaska take the blame, and Milea doesnt know why. -
87 days before
Miles goes on a 'triple and a half date' with Lara and The Colonel, Sarah, Alaska, Jake and Takumi (the half). Miles gets hit by a basket ball, gets a cuncussion, and throws up on Lara (his date), so Tukumi takes him to the hospital. The Colonel and Sara break up because shes a c razy bitch. -
58 days before
Miles decides to stay at Culver Creek with Alaska for thanks giving. This is important because it’s when Miles and Alaska become really close. -
2 days before
In the barn, Alaska tells everyone how her mother died and that she believes it’s her fault because she was too scared to call the ambulance when she was little. Lara and Miles kiss for the first time and their relationship grows and Lara agrees to be his girlfriend. This shows that Miles is trying to get over Alaska. -
After
Everyone is called down to the gym and they get the news that Alaska has passed away in a car crash. Miles and The Colonel are devastated. The night before they easily could’ve stopped her from getting in the car drunk, but they didn’t and now they feel guilty. -
The final prank
Pudge and the Colonel decide to continue with the prank that Alaska had originally thought of in her memory. The prank consisted of highering a male prostitute to strip on stage during a speaking event in front of the school.
