Visiting with my aunt
Every Friday night, Joseph Beth employees would read books for kids. I loved to go to these but they are in Lexington.I would make plans to visit my aunt, who lives in Lexington, just so that I could go to Joseph Beth and listen to them reading. They would read lots of genres and would even read chapter books. -
My favorite thing to do.
When I was in 3rd grade I loved to watch television. Some of my favorite shows were Little Bear, Kim Possible, The Backyardagins, The Animaniacs, Sid the Science kid, Wow wow Wubbzy, and Ruff Ruffman. -
Ms. Roark
My second grade teacher, Ms. Roark, made all her students write in cursive. I hated writing in cursive because I was terrible at it. I begged my mom to let me stay home so I wouldn't have to be embarrassed by awful handwriting. -
Read with my mom
On nights when I couldn't go to sleep, my mom would read me my favorite book as a kid, Pinkalicious. It is about a girl who loves pink and cupcakes. She goes on lots of adventures with her brother, Peter. -
Barnes and Noble
Barnes and Noble is my go to bookstore. I have had a membership there for around 6 years. My mom always takes me there to get new books for my birthday. I love to go there and spend lots of time just looking and reading s all sections of books. -
Turtles all the way down
This book is one of my favorites. It came out last year. It was written by John Green and is by far his best book. I like it a lot. -
What to say next
This book is my favorite book. It is about two classmates named Kit and David who are friends and try to solve a car crash accident and determine what happened. -
The way I used to be
This is another one of my favorites. It is about emotional and personality changes a girl named Eden goes through after being raped. It was really emotional and deep. It made me understand a little bit more about the way other people think and showed me a different approach to sexual assault. -
Market Watch
Market watch is a project I have done in Business Principles & applications, and in Financial Accounting. Every day you had to watch and research your stocks and see how they were doing. You had to read about each stock and decide if you wanted to buy shares in it. -
Buying shoes
I have this big fear about buying shoes that won't fit me so every time I order shoes I read on the review to make sure no one says they fit weird.
