    This was the day that Jerri Nielsen was born!

  • John Lennon died

    John Lennon is murdered by Mark David Chapman. he was shot 5 times 2 of them in the back and the other three in other places. He spun around and stumbled on the ground where he eventually died. Mark Chapman dropped the gun and waited for the police to arrive. He was sentenced to life in prison. He said that God had told him to murder John, but he was admitted to the Asylum and was crazy. I choose this event becuase I loved the Beatles.

    Today was the day that Jerri arrived at the south pole.

    She finally told the people with her about the lump that she had.

    Jerri preformed the 1st biopsy on herself noe.

    They recieved the information video from Denver before the biopsy.

    After doing many medical experiments in the U.S., officails of the National Science Foundation decided to to an air drop for supplise to Jerri.

  • Diagnosis

    Tonight was the day that she found out that the tumer turned out to be an agressive form of cancer.

  • Last time

    This was the date of her final snowmobile ride in Antarctica. She had lived there for eleven months. She is now so weak that she can barley walk, but she still loves it there.

  • Evacuation

    Jerri had begun to get several infections. It was of upmost importance that she was evacuatted from the Pole. This is the day that she finally left.

  • Infection

    After the breast cancer she got sergery and then suffered a serious staph infection.

  • 9/11

    This is the important event that happened durring her lifetime. The tragic event of 9/11 is when Osama Bin Laden attacked the trade center.

    Today was the day that Jerri died after battleing cancer. It was at first breast cancer but then it spread to her liver and eventually her brain. She died when she was 57.
