the men come to a fork in the river. They are unsure which way to go so Lewis and 3 men go through the south side to see if they're on the Missouri. they eventually find the falls of the Missouri to assure Lewis it's the Missouri.

The men see a Shoshone Indian on horseback which they had been looking for. They trade with the Shoshone for horses in order to cross the Rockies.

the men ride their horses through the last mountain range between them and the pacific. in November they reach the Pacific

They face a rainy winter on the pacific. The men spend most of the time making clothes, storing food and writing maps.

The men ride the Missouri back down to St. Louis. Although, before this one of the men had accidentally shot Lewis. Thankfully, the wound is not fatal.

Lewis And Clark enter the mississippi river and get off in St. Louis where they end their journey.The Journey took 2 years, 4 months, and 10 days.
