    In 1917, Albert Einstein predicted the phenomenon of stimulated emission, which is fundamental to the operation of all lasers. he slayed the ground work for lasers.

  • Valentin Fabrikant

    Valentin theorized the use of stimulated emission to amplify radiation

  • Quantum Theory

    Charles Townes, Nikolay Basov, and Alexander Prokhorov develop the Quantum theory of stimulated emission. They demonstrated this with microwaves.

  • LASER

    Gordon Gould proposes that stimulated emission can be used to amplify light. he also created the acronym LASER, which stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
