MacAuthur ordered a daring invasion behind ememy lines at the Inchon port. The Inchon landing took the North Koreans by surprise. Within weeks they were in full retreat back across the 38th parallel. Truman then gave the order to chase the North Koreans beyond the 38th parallel. MacAuthur pushed the North Koreans north to the Yalu River(the border with China.) Pg. 665
