On October 25, China had gotten involved with the war. The Chinese military attacked the US troops in South Korea. -

AFter being elected President, Eishenhower kept his promise towards the people and traveled to Korea for Peace negotiations to end the war. -

After over a million casualties the two parts of the country agreed to stop fighting. They were still divided and did not agree with each other, but there was no more fighting.
