In June the US Secretary of State Dean Acheson told the President that North Korea has invaded the South. They might need to act and help so they don't have another Adolf Hitler. The US response was to build and send units and help Soth Korea with the war. The US was low on men and guns.

General MacArthur want his men to have an amphibious landing to get to Inchon. After the war started General Edward Almond lead 40,000 into battle. At the end of the bettle Seoul was recapture and back in the good hands.

Eisenhower pledges to go to Korea to end the war and get peace between the North and the South. VP candidate Nixon contends Democrats had caved in to communists in Korea and that Democrat presidential candidate Stevenson should be called "Adlai the Appeaser"
