38th Parallel
Soviet Union has a complete power of North Korea and they divided the country exactly on the 38th parrallel as they had agreeded on the Potsdam Conference. USA took power of South Korea. -
Viet Minh Establishment
Had support for their cause in North Vietnam, so they announced the esablishment of an independent Vietnam and changed their government to a Democratic Republic so France got mad because they did not want to give up their colony, they decided to fight back. -
North Korea Invades
North Korea attacks South Korea, Russia helps North Korea with army supplies. -
Unites States and the United Nations Condemn North Korea
South Korea asks the UN for help, the USSR did not went to the meeting because they were helping North Korea. The UN ended up helping South Korea and US by sending troops to stop the invasion. -
North Korea Captures Seoul
UN troops were in the border with China, they felt threatened. Pushed them away into South Korea and captured the capital of Seoul. -
Korean War Armistice
United States, China and the North Korea sign an agreement to end the "UN peace action". After this agreement the war ends and North and South Korea stayed divided by the 38 parallel. -
US troops enter the fight
The US president told the congress about what had happened with the attacking of the North Vietnam to their destroyers so they accepted the request to send troops to fight. -

North Vietnam attacks US and South Vietnam by surprise but both the US and South Vietnam's troops managed to defend themselves and turn the story around. -

Richard Nixon was the new president of the US and he came up with the idea to stop their involment in the Vietnam war so they did. -
Reunification of Vietnam
South Vietnam surrendered to North Vietnam and all Vietnam became a communist country.
