After president Truman brought the issue of Noth Korea to the UN the United Staes gained unanimous approval to send help to South Korea to defend and restore peace. -
General Douglas MacArthur is choosen
After North Korea invaded South Korea the UN was called into acrtion. Douglas MacArthur was choosen by president Truman to lead the UN forces in Korea. -
North Koreans Sweep Through South Korea
North Koreans rapidly advance on South Koreas territory capturing South Korea's capital Seoul, and destroying almost everything. -
MacArthur Stickes at North Korea
After North Korea invaded South Korea MacArthur suspected that the North Koreans' rapid advance had left their supply lines stretched thin so he decided to strike back and advance. -
"Home by Christmas" offence
After countrer attacting North Korea, the UN had pushed North Korea all the way up to China's border. General MacArther anounced that they would be home by Christmas attempting to drive the enemy across the border into China. -
China Crosses the Border
The Chinese forces fled across the border to take offens, they pushed South Korea all the way back to their boder where they started at the beginning. -
Truce Line
The Truce line is established near the original division between North Korea and South Koreaa declairing an end to the war.
