    China was getting worried about the UN armies that were slowly advancing into their territory so they decided to get involved in the Korean War against the South which included the UN.

    President Truman dismissed General Douglas MacArthur as commander of the US Forces. MacArthur had been giving statements to the press that had not been preapproved by the government.
