First and favorite chapter book growing up. At one point I memorized the beginning paragraph of each book because they all started out the same.

In 2002 we moved to Frisco. I had Ms. Goodrich as my dyslexia teacher and she was amazing. Helped me be the reader I am today

In the 5th grade, because I have dyslexia the TAKS test was read to me in a separate room.

I started to get into the Twilight series and loved the books. Of course like all books, they were better than the movies

I started reading the books later than most people. I also started from book 5.

Sophmore year, I started Pre-AP English and this was my first experience with summer reading.

In high school, I remember reading the books that the school made us read. The Scarlet Letter, Tale of Two Cities, and Romeo and Juliet to name a few.

When I started babysittting in high school, I remember having to read to little kids before bed time or help them with school work.

Last semester I had the oppurtunity to read to a classroom of children about plant life.

In a class I took last semester I had to read 10 children's book and relate them to how they would be able to be used in the classroom.
