During this time is when Kenneth Craik would go on to write his book "The Nature of Explanation" which is the dive into understanding how the human mind creates little models inside the brain that help us break down our thought process on what our actions will be that are affected by the surrounding world. It is considered an essential part of our decision-making skills and cognitive responses. These "Mental Modules" that we build in our head still help people explain or map out what they think.

In the 2 papers he discusses humans as the operator or the operating system, and how are cognitive functions or the reaction time threw our eyes to our minds and the time it takes for us to be aware of the action or reaction. He also discusses on the slower "the course" is the less mistakes are to be made.
