This wa a supreme court case that natives didn't have to follow state laws. Ga conducted a campaign to remove cherokee which will decrease population. (new Ga. encyclopedia) -
1838-Trail of tears
Andrew jackson ignored the Worcester V. Ga & passed the indian removal act. They made the indians move to "indian territory"oklahoma and indian population increased in Georgia and Ga had more farmers to work.(New ga studies textbook)
