  • Preschool

    I entered Pumpkin Shell when I was four-years-old.
  • Kindergarten

    I entered Kindergarten in 1996 at Sherburne-Earlville School
  • Book It!

    In elementary school, I would read books for the Book It! program. After I read so many books I would get a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
  • Got My First Library Card

    I got my first library card when I was in elementary school. I felt so mature when I got this card.
  • Received an American Girl Doll

    After I got an American Girl Doll for Christmas, I started reading the American Girl Doll books. These books were about the dolls that my friends and I owned.

    George W. Bush became president
  • 9/11 Attack

    Attach on the Twin Towers. I had to so more research in school and history readings to learn more about what was happening in the world.
  • Middle School Talent Show

    In middle school I memorized the lines in the song "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better" to perform with a friend in a talent show. We turned the song into a comedy. It was so much fun, but I was very nervous to do it.

    My father made me participate in the Summer Reading Challange this summer. I had to read 10 books throughout the summer.

    My father made me participate in the Summer Reading Challange this summer. I had to read 10 books throughout the summer.
  • Summer Reading Challange: 8th Grade

    My father made me participate in the Summer Reading Challange this summer. I had to read 10 books throughout the summer.
  • 8th Grade Research Project about NYC

    In 8th grade we had to choose a topic that linked with NYC. We then worked on this project in classes other than just English. Ultimately, we made a final paper to be presented in front of our class. Then our whole 8th grade got to take a day trip to NYC and tour the city.
  • Conformation

    I was confirmed into the United Methodist Church along with Lea in 2007. To do this we had to read a lot of readings on Jesus' stories.
  • Got my first cell phone

    Once I got my first cell phone I started texting all of my friends. Doing so made it very easy to make plans and communicate with friends and family. I also found it awesome that I could communicate with my brother Luke in California and my sister Sonja in New Jersey while being in New York.

  • Discovered The Author Nicholas Sparks

    Once I discovered the author Nicholas Sparks, I absolutely fell in love with his books! I couldn't put them down!
  • Graduated from high-school

  • Father Retires

    My father retired and gave a "Last Lecture" to the Sherburne School District. I spoke a little bit about him before he gave his speech.
  • Got my own computer!

    For my birthday, I got my own computer. It is a MacBook Pro that I still use and love today.
  • Freshmen at Keuka

    This was my frist semester at Keuka College. I was in an English class that helped me with citing APA style, which I had never heard of before. I also had to write my frist official college paper, which I was so nervous about handing in because I thought the grading was going to be so rigorous
  • Best Friend Passing

    My best friend Krissie Collier passed away. I wrote a eulogy to say at her funeral.
