  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The first act that parliment made was the Sugar act. This was and tax on all products that were sugar or molasses. This was to make some money from the 7 years war. The colonists didn't like the idea of taxing them so in response they boycotted.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp act was an act that also was to get money from the seven years war. It was a tax on all printed things lik papers and playing cards. Many of the colonists didn't like the idea. The son of liberty rebeled by burning stamps that the tax collecter owned.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The massacre that took place at king street is the massacre: the Boston Massacre. This was a mob of angery colonists throwing ice and snow balls at brithish soldiers. They were told not to fire. But then, a gun shot was heard and another . Soon enough, the crowd was being fired at. At the end 5 colonists were dead.

    The east india company was a company that made tea. the tea that they were making wouldn't sell. The tea act wasn't a tax on tea. it was to lower the price on tea. Parliment did this to help the failing tea company. this act soon led to the Boston tea party.

    The Boston Tea Party was colonists dressed up as indians and dumping tea off three ships. This was to state the saying, "No Taxation Without Representaion". After all the crates were dumped, the harbor was filled with tea crates. When th king herad the news, he was furious and closed the harbor.

    Paul revere one of the sons of liberty was to save two leading patriots the night of april 18,1775. John Hancock and Samuel Adams were the two targets of the british and said to be arrested. Paul rode all the way, and safetly fled.

    The British wanted to take the wepons that the milita had. when they got there the milita was ready to fight. The British shot at the milita and the battle broke out. Both sides were fighting. Both sides knew that hey were ready to fight for freedom.

    The batte for the hill was a batttle for independance. It was Great britain V.S. 13 Colonies. What started the battle was when the colonists learned about the British plan to occupy porchester heights. after the war was over, it had proved that the Americans could fight against the British army in taraditional warfare.

    The declartion of independance was a letter to king george telling him that they wanted to be a free country. The 56 signers signed the letter at the Independance hall in Philadehia. These signers knew that if they were to be cuaght, they would be killed.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    The last battle was the Battle Of Yorktown. It was also the end to the Rev. war. Great britain was not under control of the 13 colonies anymore. They were independent.
