Jack Ruby shot and killed Oswald in the basement of the Dallas Police Headquarters on live TV. -

He was found guilty of murdering Oswald and sentenced to death. He claimed he couldn't get a fair trial in Dallas, so was supposed to receive a new trial. -
Warren Commission Denies Conspiracy
The Warren Commission said that neither were involved in a conspiracy and that Jack Ruby had no relation to organized crime. -
Rose Cheramie Was Killed
After the assassination, police talked to Rose. She told them about the men that attacked her and said that she had seen Lee Harvey Oswald in one of Ruby's nightclubs. She was later the victim of a hit and run incident that could have been mob-related. -

He died of cancer while waiting for a new trial.
