  • Navigation Acts

    The purpose prevented colonists from sending certian products such as sugar or tabacco outside of england. They acepted the trade at first. But later merchants wanted to sell products where they could get higher prices.
  • Proclamation

    It was a temporarary western boundary for the colonies in the Appalachian Mountains. It angered those who owned shares in land companies, they already bought land west of Appalachian Mountaions.
  • Sugar act

    Lowered taxes on imported mallasess and tea. They did not agree because British actions violated their rights as english citizens.
  • Stamp Act

    It placed a tax on almost all printed material including news papers, wills, and playing cards. It angered the citizens and they created the sons and daughters of liberty to protest against the stamp act.
  • Declaratory Act

    Parlament had rights to tax and make dissisons for the British colonies. The people wanted to repel the law but got overulled.
  • Townshend Act

    There were new taxes on goods such as glass, and paper, with the tax being paid at the port of entry. This created a boycott on tea.
  • Tea Act

    It took all control over the trade for tea in america. It created a boycott wanting to stop the East Indian Comapanys.
  • Coercive Acts

    It punished people of massachusetts for their resistance to British laws. They did not like getting bunished for what they belive in.
  • Quebec Act

    It gave area west of the Appalachians and North of the Ohio River. This ignored colonial claims to the area.
