Jane finds a new friend and spends her free time at school with him. Since mid-February she hung out by herself.

Jane is threatened that the next day at lunch she will get beat up by the 8th grade bully named Kasey. Jane goes home and tells her parents. Her parents phone the school and nothing happens at lunch the next day. Kasey, the bully, leaves Jane alone. For a while.

Over Winter Break Jane recieved a series of text messages, emails, and Facebook posts calling her inappropriate names and accusing her of doing inappropriate things. Jane told her parents and suggested she stay away from technology for a while.

Jane returns to school to find that the same girl as before, Kasey, and a few others started verbally harassing her. Jane reported this to her parents who then contacted the school.

Because Jane spoke up and told her parents, who then contacted the school, the people responsible for bullying her were suspended from school for three days. Although they have left her alone, Jane still worries if she will be bullied again.
