    Invite school community to discuss the future of technology integration at James Foster Elementary.

  • 21st Century Classroom

    Decide what a 21st century classroom needs to look like.

  • Create a purchasing and installation plan

    This includes hardware, software, infrastructure

  • Create a professional development plan

    This includes who will do the training, how will teachers implement, who will support implementation

  • Create a master plan

    This includes purchasing, implementation, and professional development

  • Present Technology Plan

    Invite all stakeholders

  • Infrastructure implementation

    Install infrastructure

  • Hardware installation

    Install smartboards, desktops, laptops

  • Begin Phase 1 Professional Development

    Begin Staff development for Administrators

  • Phase II Professional Development

    Teachers and administrator

  • Phase III Professional Development

    Lesson Plan design for Smartboards
    This training will continue throughout the school year.

  • Coaches training

    Teachers who have be trained will be assigned to grade levels as support staff for technology implementation

  • Review and revise Technology Plan

    This will be the time when we review our progress and next steps.
