  • The French and Indian War

    From 1754 to 1763 the British fought a war called the french and Indian war. It costed Britain a lot of money to fight this war and that is why they started to tax the Americans.
  • King George took the thrown.

    This is the date that King George took the thrown. I had this leading to the war because maybe another king would have handled the situation differently.
  • The stamp act

    The stamp act when the British fought the war they had to get money faster so they decided to place the stamp act. The British decided they would tax everything with paper in it.
  • The Townshend act

    Right after the stamp act was repealed they made the Townshend act. This act taxed glass, lead, paper, and tea. A lot of people protested against this act.
  • The Boston Massacre

    In the Boston Massacre 5 people were killed. It started out as a group of American were throwing sticks, stone and snowballs at the British solders and then the British ahot at them and five of them died.
  • The Tea act

    When the British fought the war they needed a lot of money so they passed all of these taxes. The tea act lead to the Boston Tea Party. The Boston Tea party was was when angry colinest dressed up as mohawk indians and dumped the British tea into the ocean.

    This a response of the intolerable acts. They had a delagates everywhere but Georgia. They talked about the boycott of the British goods.
