    Crete Earthquake and Alexandria Tsunami
    Took place in Greece and Africa on July 21, 365 AD. The earthquake is thought to be a magnitude 8 or greater and it destroyed nearly all the towns on the island. After the earthquake the tsunami occurred and in total it is believed thousands of people were killed.

    Took place in China. Because the winter storms were so brutal the 3 major rivers in central China flooded all at once and between 3.7 and 4 million people were either drowned or starved. All of this took place over the course of the winter, spring, and summer of 1931.
