    The smelting of iron was attempted again by the Vicotria Iron Company.
  • Lal Lal Iron Mining Co. Ltd

    The Victoria Iron Company became the Lal Lal Iron Mining Co. Ltd.
  • Blast Furnace

    A small blast furnace was constructed and operated in the 1880's. An empolyee was sent to Britain to learn how to operate the new technology, it took 5 before satisfactory production was achieved.
  • Mittagong Plant

    The plant was shut down due to the fact is was not economical.
