Gets picked up by Crazy “Ernie” on the side of the highway. After he gets picked up he works for Ernie on his ranch in northern California.

Chris got ticketed for hicthhiking and then met Burress.

Chris starts his boating trip down the Colorado River from Topack, Arizona.

Chris got trapped in a big storm in Mexico. So he had to stay a few days.

After the storm Uhris is trying to get back in the U.S. But unfortanly he crossed the border illegaly and end up going to jail.

Chris deciied to hike to Los Angles to obtain an I.D. After he got his I.D his new legal name was Alex

Christ get a job in Las Vegas and leave after a few month

Chris settles on the coast for July and August.

Chris leaves Oregan and heads to Bull city, Arizona. While he is in Bullhead city chris gets a job at Mcdonalds. He opens up a savings account. In one of the letters he said he might finally settle down.

Chris meets a guy call Ronald Franz. His Mcdonalds boss sends Chris his final paycheck to the post office.

After Franz picks Chris up he drops him off in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Started reading a book called "Family Hapiness"

Chris died presumingly from eating toxic potato seeds.

There is no indication whatsoever that he ate anything poisonous. The wild potato seeds branded as toxic in the book turned out not to be poisonous at all. The book was published before the full lab analysis was completed. Researsh show that he did not mistake the potatoes for wild sweet peas and knew what he was eating
