the amendment ws passed because kids just turning 18 were sent into war and couldnt even vote on who was sending them, so they finally passed this amendment allowing 18 year olds and up to vote.

After vietnamization and the thought that South Vietnam could defend itself we finally packed up our last ground troops and we were finally out of Vietnam

After all the U.S. troops left we made an agreement with the North and thought that it was over but the agreement kept North Vietnemese troops in South Vietnam, eventually the South was over run and there capital Saigon finally fell and the North finally had victory
