The first important album was “Olvide Respirar” because she became popular
Another consideration album was “Te cuento un secreto” with fourteen songs.
Nowadays,she has released an album called las Palmeras.
This album is dedicated to its origins and how much she misses her neighborhood and roots.
Singers with a lot of repution have collaborated with her like Marc Anthony and Alejandro Sanz. -

Her achievements
India Martínez started to perform in 1998 in the television program “Veo,Veo”, presented by Teresa Rabal, where she was one of the finalists.Two years later, she won a prize as a finalist and also she received a special prize for promising young performer in a contest of this town about Spanish songs.In 2001,as a consequence of her participation in the I Contest of Flamenco , she obtained the prize for the best performance.She also carried out solo performances in Almería clubs. -

The beginning of her carrer
Her first contact with flamenco was through the dance classes she received in Cordoba at the age of 5.After that, she moved with her parents to Puerto of Roquetas de Mar , where a year later she began to sing and started to be called “La Niña del Puerto”. -
