Students will take a common assessment based on our HMH book program. Teachers will use the results to inform their teaching. One question that will be asked after reviewing the results is: has any of the changes we have made in HOW we teach resulted in student learning (as measured as progress from beginning of year to mid year to end of year).

The PLC will read portions of this book in order raise questions about mathematical equity, the power of struggle and mistakes and growth mindsets. The discussions will push us to reflect on ourselves as educators.

I will be working towards a plan where I can integrate the Chromebooks I received from my Donors Choose proejct into my lesson plans. I want the Chromebooks to be tools for student engagement.
