Measure C Bond WebsiteThe voters approve a $348 million bond measure for Mt. Diablo Unified School District. This measure focuses on enhancing the student experience in our district by modernizing infrastructure, improving facilities, and purchasing technology so that our students can be 21st century learners.
-
Our district is going Google and administrators will be trained in using the collaborative tools available through Google Apps for Education. Once the administrators understand and use the tools, they can begin using them with their teachers.
-
Per our district tech plan:
The first group of schools to write and gain approval for their tech plans is done. This group represents all high schools, alternative ed, and some elementary schools. Along with the technology purchased, these sites will receive priority for training with the tech coaching team. After this year, the team will continue to support these sites, but on an as needed basis. -
Having the central office on the Google domain will be an important step to having all of our sites using Google. Prior to this date there will be trainings for each department in how GAFE can be used and increase productivity and collaboration.
-
Group 2 schools, all middle schools and some elementary schools, will have their technology and be training in its use.
-
Purchasing and initial technology training for all remaining elementary schools will be completed.
