Katiniss and Gale Hunting
At this point, Katniss and Gale are out in the woods hunting for food to keep their families alive. -
Names Drawn
At the reaping the girls name is drawn first. It is Primrose Everdeen. Katniss volunteers as tribute in her sisters place. The boys name that is drawn is Peeta Mellark. -
Reaping
The reaping begins on this day and the whole population of District 12 has gathered to attend. -
Katniss gets to see visitors
After the reaping, Katniss is put into a room so she does not try to escape. While she is in this room, she gets to see visitors though. This is when she recieves the pin with the mockingjay on it. She can wear this pin during the games to remember where she came from. -
Train
Katniss and Peeta bored a train to take them to the Capital. The train is something more extravagant than Katniss has ever seen. -
Entrance
Once Peeta and Katniss arrive at the Capital, they are "done up" by stylists and they make an extravagant entrance to the games and they enter with flames on their clothes. They grab everyones attention at this point. -
Entering the games
Peeta and Katniss enter the arena for the Hunger Games -
Rue
Rue dies during the games and Katniss lays flowers around her and sets her surroundings up like a memorial. The Capital is not very pleased by this, -
Announcement
The Capital announces that there can be two winners in the Hunger Games, but they must be from the same district. This is to calm down District 11 so they can root for Peeta and Katniss to fall in love. -
The End
Katniss and Peeta are the last two left in the games. But its not over yet. The Capital takes back their rule that two people can win and they say that only one can. Katniss and Peeta do not want to kill one another so they decide to each eat poisinous berrys. The Capital then stops them and lets them both be winners.
