    There was no NFL in 1910 there was only college football. A touchdown was worth only 5 points compared to its regular 6, you can only throw 20 yards down the field and you had to let the receiver catch the ball. There weren't the traditional wide receivers there were only tight ends.
  • Schacht Roadster

    Schacht Roadster
    Brothers William and Gustav A. Schacht established the Schacht Manufacturing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, and their first automobile entered production in 1904. The price of the car in 1910 was worth $19,800. It's horsepower was only 24.
  • Education

    In the 1910s only 19% of high school kids were enrolled and only 9% graduated. The education at the time shifted from farming to the industrial business. A majority of the things in school came from other countries like Europe.
  • Intruments

    After the great fire of 1871, Chicago became the nation's main instrument producer. They started producing tons of pianos and organs. Being that the progressive era took place before the radio and sound tv instruments were a main source of self entertainment. Chicago made half of the countries pianos and brought in a lot of money with the high demand during the progressive era.

    Food
    Food in the 1910s was usually dependent on the ethnicity and the wealth of the family. Southern and Northern families ate very differently. Lastly, the country had to ration due to the war.
