    The time after the WWII Germany had been very weak and Hitler took the for granted and told them they were going to be living a better life so then he decided to take all of the Jews and move them out of their houses. They brought the Jews to the Ghetto and made their lives miserable compared to everyone else. He progressively made it worse and then in developed into the holocaust.

    The holocaust was the "final solution". There was a bunch of killing and destruction of territory. Many Jewish people died.
  • Hitler Becomes Chancellor of Germany

    Hitler was a leader of a Nazi Party. He invaded Poland and caused WWII. He also was the leader of the Holocaust and helped kill 6 million Jews. He gained a lot of power because Germans were out of hope and were willing to do almost anything to revive their country.

  • Enabling Act of March 1933

    -basically gives power of decision making to Hitler
    -withing a few months, all other political parties besides the Nazis were eliminated
    -this allowed Hitler to get rid of all his rivals
    -at this time, we see an official boycott of Jewish businesses as well
  • Nuremberg Laws

    Nazis needed a way to identify Jews so they could discriminate them. Nuremberg Laws defined people with three or four Jewish Grandparents as "Jewish" and one or two as "Mixed Blood". Impact of Nuremberg Laws

    -Cannot fly national flag
    -Punishments included fines, imprisonment and hard labor

    It was nicknamed "The Night of Broken Glass" because many buildings along the edges of streets had smashed windows. Nazis set fire to buildings, stole things from Jewish homes, schools and businesses, and killed many people.
