Was supposed to banned all settlement west of the Appalachian mountains. The british couldnt enforce this and it was broken -
Sugar Act
It halved the duty on foreign made molasses, placed duties on certain imports and strengthened the enforcement of the law -
Stamp Act
Colonists needed specially stamped paper for any and every legal document such as mail, license, newspaper and pamphlets
