    the proclamation of 1763, and mercantilism. The king taxed the colonists to pay off his debt and this angers the colonists because they don't have representation. Another way the relationship changed… the colonists were frustrated because they had to pay off King George's debt. And finally because...the colonists feel oppressed over mercantilism due to the restrictions on trades

    This changed the relationship because the colonists felt oppressed by the British government because they felt they felt they should be able to settle on land that helps to gain

    This increased tensions because the British taxed the colonist for sugar and molasses because they needed money for war debt from the French and Indian war

    The stamp act increased tension because Britain taxed the colonist on stamps to sell things that weren’t good for colonist merchants and they were taxing without representation

    The Boston massacre increased tensions because British soldiers shot into a crowd of colonists and killed 7 of them

    The Boston tea party is the colonial response to the tea act and it was when a group of colonists got on a British tea ship and dumped tea into the water which increased tensions between the colonist and Britain

    The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first battle of the American revolution and increased tensions because Britain was now fighting the colonist and was officially a war
