    Hiroshi Yamauchi was at one of his harfuda factories and noticed an extending arm, which was made by Gunpei Yokoi to play with during his breaks. Yamauchi told Gunpei Yokoi to make it into an official product and to have it done before christmas so it could be sold during the Christmas rush. It was a huge success and sold over a million units! this and many other products such as the Ten Billion Barrel puzzle, ultra machine and the love tester.
