    Brown v. Board of Education was a court case that ruled unanimously that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This took place in Topeka, Kansas.

    The NDEA was created to enhance and and strengthen the American School System through funds. It also encouraged students to pursue education after high school. The United States put this into effect after the concern to compete with the Soviet Union especially in technology and science areas.

    The ESEA was signed in 1965 and by President Lyndon B. Johnson. The ESEA started what is called Head Start and it is a huge event in Education. This raised attention to special education which allowed a better educational opportunity for children.
