    The American Semoa Island were found in June 14, 1889

    The American Semoa Natioal Park was established in October 31, 1988 by public law

  • Signed a 50 year lease

    In 1993 the park signed a 50-year lease with the eight participating villages.

  • Expansion

    In 2002 congress made an expansion to the park that added 2 villages
