  • P.A.R.C v. Pennsylvania

    Attorney Gilhool represented 13 children with disabilities. PARC and the plaintiffs argue that the defendant refused them attendance because of their mental state. The defendant refused the plaintiffs base on state laws and regulations. Summed up, these laws and regulations give the right to refuse students deemed untrainable or postpone their admission. In the end, they reached an agreement in which the state agreed to provide free public education for children with intellectual disabilities.
