  • Brown V Board of Education

    -Decisions made by the supreme court
    -Separate but Equal rights for children of color and with special needs.
    -No child will be excluded from a public school
    -The decision did not succeed in courts successfully but then it was overturned making the decision to segregate the school with equal opportunities for all children.
    -Children with special needs were given an education
    -Supported them by giving them that chance to a free education and not be judged by who they are.
  • Pennsylvania Association for the Retarted (PARC) V Commonweath of Education

    -No public education for children with special needs in this state. -They demanded an equal opportunity for children with special needs
    -Parents were providing education and transportation to these children with special needs without help.
    -The courts demanded that these children get the proper education that they need.
    -The department of education issued education for all.
    -These rulings helped parents to relief some stress and lift a burden off.
    -This opened up doors for other places as well
  • Honigv. Doe

    -A school violated the Education for All Handicapped Children Act by suspending students with behavior problems.
    -The school had no right to do so because the students conditions.
    -Students with behavior problem cannot control there emotions so they act out for attention.
    -The student may not even beware of there disruptive behavior or know how to control it.
    The court ruled it out saying that the state must provide services directly to the students.
    -Every child is welcome an education
