    The 14th Amendment was the beginning of civil rights to all citizens. Although it limited power in different buildings and environment, it was the start of equality. This was the start of our educational history.

    Teachers are the essential assets for students to learn. Supplies are the essential assets for students to learn, too, as well as providing meals during school. In order to have a successful classroom and environment of learning, there needs to be teachers, enough to go around. With out them, our learning capabilities would be in danger.

    Brown v. Board of Education
    Allowing African American children and white to be in one classroom together creates an equal one. It doesn't matter who the student is, they are at school for an education and should be allowed one anywhere their parent(s) choose to do so.
  • No Child Left Behind Act

    No Child Left Behind Act
    This event is important in our history because it is giving equal rights and opportunity to all citizens. Every child is entitled to the same education and isn't not included based on low-income, minority, disability, ect. All families are given the right of education and opportunity, which is important in today's society.

    This is a great way to understand the diversity in a classroom from a young age. Many kids may not understand why they are having trouble reading/writing and may be too embarrassed to share that they have an issue once they are older.
