College Begin to Form
Starting in 1636 Harvard College was created for Men to continue their education. This was the first institution of higher learning. Harvard would go on to be one of the most pristine schools to attend today.

Growing in 1700
Benjamin Franklin started off the growing of education with the first public library. After this Thomas Jefferson opened up the University of Virginia. He created this to help young people understand government roles and regulations better. Noah Webter created textbooks for the student educational system.

Seeing the light in 1800's
Horance Mann changed the way of education. He created the first Normal school in 1837 which then shaped its way across the states for the way education is preceded. These schools led to schooling being taught to everyone including women being involved in learning in school. Recent Years
From the 1900's to todays society of education has changed greatly. Women and men of all color can attend any school they would like. Students who struggle in school have greater options along with their are thousands of schools across the nation.
