    Born on October 26, 1947, Clinton would become an influential woman of politics and would be praised for her skills as a manager and a neogtiater (Clinton, Hillary Rodham.). She had many contributions to politics not only as a First Lady, but as a woman. Even to this day, she is making an impact on rules and regulations for women and children. She would go onto become a powerful figure in American politics.

    After graduating from Wellesley College, Clinton went on to study law at Yale. While studying there she became very interested in children's rights. She wrote an article called "Children's Rights: A Legal Perspective" that stated that children should be allowed to make decisions for themselves (Clinton, Hillary Rodham). Her time there also included meeting her future husband, Bill Clinton.

    After the inaguartion of her husband, Bill, Hillary is given the title of First Lady. Together they worked on health care reform. She played a very influential role in politics, much like Eleanor Roosevelt. She also dealt with tmany scandals such as the Lewinsky and Whitewater scandals (Hillary Clinton Addresses a Crowd).

Clinton is a large advocate for women's rights and believes it is essential for women to have basic medical rights . She delivered a speech at the UN conference in 1995 declaring that all women should not be put down because of their gender (Clintolibrary42). Although she is not the chair anymore, there was a news article on September 25, 2013 saying that Clinton wants to review women's rights.

    Clinton was elected a Democratic Senator of New York and was also the first First Lady to become a senator. She was involved with many committees and especially helped with the after math of the 9/11 terroists attacks. She was in favor of the United States using force against Iraq after the attacks and proposed funding $7 billion for homeland security (Clinton, Hillary Rodham).

    Announces her Candidacy for President
    After being a US Senator and a First Lady, Clinton decided she had enough experience to run for the President position. Her campain slogan was "Let the Conversation Begin" (Hillary Clinton Addresses a Crowd). She went with this slogan to make her seem approcahable as a person, as her main issues she would focus on would have been human rights. In the Democratic primaries she went up against Obama, who won. However, she could be another candidate in the 2016 elections.

    Appointed by President Obama, Clinton became Secretary of State. She dealt with many conficts like the Middle East (Engleheart). She worked with countires in the Middle East to have more diplomatic relations with them. In addition to making better relationships with countries in the East, she also advocated for the battle to end world hunger.
