    This book Ms, Allen has read to us, was an amazing story of a hero willing to risk his life to help his fellow team, and how he was able to receive the medal of honor. It tells a story of a hero.
  • Talk with mom

    I asked my mom how i felt when she first got a piano. She said i was happy the way the piano sounds, and how i wouldn't stop playing/ messing around. Its great to have a mom who first taught me how to play the piano influencing me to get into music.

    Through webcamming, we were able to hear Kristi from Puerto Rico talk about her life there and about the Peace Corps. It was mentioned that Ms. Simmons thought of her as a hero.

    My hero is a musician so i asked my private teache, Mr. Jones how life was being a cellist/ conductor. He was happy he got his dream job, and he tells me to wok hard to recieve what one wants. He has been teaching me the cello for the past 5-6 years and it was great to have someone support me.

    Our class went to the library this day to find books/autobiographies on our heroes. I found an interesting book on Lang Lang, a pianist. whom i decided to pick as my hero.

    I finally had finished reading the book, and it was an amazing biography about Lang Lang's life on how he started off being lonely and how music changed his life. He still conitinues playing today, influencing many people. like me

    I started reading Lang Lang's biographies this day, and I'm still in the middle of the book. Its a great book about his life from starting with his birth till a grown concertman.

    On this day I shared a short passage from Lang Lang's biography to show why I picked him as my hero. The passage was just describing how he has performed many concerts, got his dream job, and yet his journey was just a beginning. It influenced me to continue on my journey with the cello.
