    In first half of 2018, Heart Matters a company that promotes lifestyle changes to decrease heart disease in Hartsville, TN community expands into Alabama. Heart Matters needed to learn which activities to focus efforts on at the new locations.

    Heart Matters receives funding in first part of 2018 to use an SQL database to store, manage, and analyze data
  • Heart Matters Uses BRFSS Data

    Sometime in first half of 2018 Heart Matters IT system administrator physically transferred data that had been stored to a new location. The data set and codebook were copied to flash drive and imported into the new system.
  • Heart Matters Hires Data Analyst

    Heart Matters hires data analyst for the Alabama location and asked to re-review the master data set to determine the top three health concerns they should focus on in Alabama. While reviewing the data discovered that the CSV file contained characters that were unreadable by the SQL database during data migration and some rows of data were not transferred. The import quantity on SQL did not match the CSV files.
