    The movement that started all the revolutions, This is a phylosphical movement that started promoting equality, freedom (religion, speech, of press) and human rights.     Seven Years War

    The Seven Years War is considered to be the first global war, fought in Europe, India, and America, and at sea.   • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The British Parliament imposed the Stamp Act in the colonies so they could require some documents and stamps so they could know you paid your tax.     It was a political protest of the native americans and british colonials against the Stamp Act and the British taxes in general. This consisted in sinking of a tea ship. This was one of the events that sparkled the American Revolution.

    Thomas Paine published a book (first a pamphlet) named "Common Sense" where he started spreading the idea that the empire was supressing the rights and voice of the people in the colonies.     Declaration of Independence
    On July 4th of 1776, the Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, was accpeted and recognized by the Secont Continental Congress. In it he states "...all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness". Source: J.   • Defeat of Britain and Treaty of Paris

    Defeat of Britain and Treaty of Paris
    British General Cornwallis surendered to the Americans with the help of the French at Yorktown in 1781.     Constitution
    After seeing that the Articles of Confederation (1781) were not working as expected, the American delegates met at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia to create a brand new Constitution.
