Japan was going to keep on fighting until everyone was dead. Japanese people were giving no mercy, and would not surrender. President Truman made the difficult decision between invading Japan, or to drop an Atomic Bomb on parts of Japan. Truman decided to save many lives and drop the bombs in Japan, which then quickly ended World War II. -
