    When I arrived in Gridley in 2012 the classrooms generally appeared as they did in the 19th century without teacher access to technology.

    In 2013 we provided each classroom teacher with a teacher workstation cocnnected to a projector or flatscreen and document camera.

    In 2014 we added Chromebook carts and teacher Google for Education certification to facilitate project-based Common Core instruction.

    Gridley High School becomes a "digital high school" which includes non-traditional learning enviroments and spaces for students which utilize project-based learning, online learning as well as traditional group learning.
