Gulliver is shipwrecked and when he awakes, he finds himself bound and surrounded by tiny people, the Liliputians. He learns their language and becomes their ally until he puts a fire in the royal palace and is convicted of treason.

Gulliver arrives at an undiscovered island which is inhabited by giants. Gulliver is sold to the Queen of the country and entertains the court through music. He is eventually picked by an eagle and dropped into the sea, escaping from the island.

After being attacked by pirates, Gulliver arrives to the island of Laputa, an island which is inhabited by academics with far-fetched research and ideas.

This is Gulliver's last journey in the novel. The land of Houyhnhnms is inhabited by very intelligent horses called Houyhnhnms. Yahoos, who are similar to humans, also inhabt the island and are ruled by the Houyhnhnms.
